I’m back peeps, buying the 83 back from my father n law next week probably and I still need to regear the front to 4.88 gears to match the back. From what I can remember someone made a kit with the 4.88 ring and pinion to rotate the front diff 180 degrees to help with driveshaft angle from lift kits. It also came with an oil sling blade from what I remember. Anyone know where to find this kit? TIA

 

It is not a kit but a High pinion 8" diff. They came in fj80 land cruisers. Many suppliers sell built ones or can build them, and you can still find the diffs used..
