so i need to bob my bed but if i do that i will have to get a first gen bed(pricey) or just build a flat bed (removable). i refuse to cut up my bed thats on there though. any ideas or pictures or ideas?

 

Why do you want to save the stock length bed but not use it? Might as well bob the one you have if its beat up, or sell it if it is not.

 

im exoing everything on it but with the extra bed hanging over itll be catching everything and the bed is almost perfect so when i do the cage im pulling the fenders and building tube fenders.

 

If you're going to exo, I'd just sell the bed and do a flatbed. Looks better with the exo and gives you more options on your cage design. You could end up with an angry mob on here for cutting up an "almost perfect" first gen bed. Someone out there would be more than happy to pay for a long bed in good condition. If you were in the salt belt you'd have guys lined up to buy it.

 

true we will see when the time comes though. thats about 3 months away.

 

sell the bed to pay for DOM tube for your cage.
