After 6yrs of always dreaming of getting a first gen i finally got one. I started out with a 3.slow 4runner 2wd =(. after driving that for a year and making it look as cool as possible the head gasket went out. Sold it as is for $1200. With my savings money i was able to find a 79' 4x4 with a 22re swapped, downey headers. Downey 3" springs on craiglist for 2500. Went down there, told him id give him $2200 he said OK! It has almost new open country m/t 33"s. Awesome truck i love it! More pics to come!

Wow, wish I could have owned one back when I was 17! I didn't get mine till I was 40!! Congrats, man.

 

Plans for it are: axle rebuild, e locker with a 2nd gen 4unner rear axle. Front locker, finish up the interior, bed liner, factory color ( not sure which one yet). And much more! Thanks guys, its my DD and I love everyone moment with her!
