Few questions.

My heater system seems to be missing a few pieces, when im cruising down the road I get air coming through the round vents on the dash from outside. I have the "fresh air/recirc" set on recirc but it doesn't change a thing. It looks like im missing a large hose that goes from the open/close flap for the fresh/recirc setting to the blower itself but I cant see why that would make a difference.

Next thing is my thermostat is either missing or stuck open, either way the truck isn't heating up and the coolant just flows through. What temperature thermostat should I be looking for? Its a 20R with a Weber 32/36.

Floor material, what gauge sheet metal should I use? someone told me 18 gauge but I really have no idea, I want it as close as stock as possible if thats any help.

My temp and gas gauge aren't working, My thought is I have my sender wired backwards(connector was broken) but when I turn the key to "ON" it raises up to empty and stays there so im not sure, I have atleast 35L of gas in the tank so its definetly not empty. The temp gauge is beyond me, ive been trying to figure it out for awhile, its definetly not working(not related to the thermostat issue).

um guess would want a 160 or something thermostat so it closes and heats up faster or vice versa, I probly need a new one too. my temp gauge dosnt work either does urs have a place to plug a cable in like mine does above the themostat im guessing thats the spot of the temp but nothing reaches that far so custom wireing in order if you find urs let me know.

For the i winter I put in a 190* thermostat and my temp stays at 190-200. My dash temp gauge quit working and couldnt figure it out either, so i got a aftermarket gauge cluster with AMP draw, temp, and oil. Its nice to know your exact temp to the * and the oil PSI. It was like $30.

As for the heater, try looking under the dash and move the cables by hand to see if the close/open. My cooler vent flap was broken, and it was damn cold in the winter so i put cardboard behind the flap. Now it gives alot of heat out of my vents.
If you need pics of the heater hoses i can take pics if ya want.

I had a spare hood laying around and it worked pretty good to touch up my floor boards.
