scored some 205/70s off my parts car [who'd have known - same size as on a benz wagon?] it's amazing how much better it drives now and no more whitewalls!

Wow, I like your truck. Looks like mine (less the SR5 wheels and decals). I really like those stripes! I'd love to add those to my truck. Too bad that guy James Dean doesn't make them. Thanks for posting these pics

I bet you could find a vinyl guy to make you a set. I can get you dimensions and upclose photos if you like. I saw your truck elsewhere on the site. Nice rig!

ok. gimme some time, I'll make some photos with dimensions, etc. I have a friend that does large-scale vinyl, perhaps since he's local to me and I have a truck with what you want, you guys can work something out.

RMA - we did what you did one time when I was younger to a Mk1 VW. It's amazingly easy to quarter a car and put it in a truck lol
i wish i had pictures of my jeep cherokee when i quartered and hauled to the metal yard in my toy! been following this thread from the start. so jealous that a truck from the decade BEFORE mine is in such better shape! upon seeing both of the little yellow trucks together i literally said "awesome!" loud enough for my co-workers to hear, ha.

well, the original radiator finally had enough and gave up
It's over at Mac's right now.

while it's out I'm replacing the water pump [shaft had huge runout]
considering replacing the fan as my clutch has been in question
deleting the airpump since I'm replacing belts anyhow
of course hoses and clamps as well

last night put the new water pump, hoses, belt, and radiator in. left the belt off the air pump. the engine sounds much happier now that the fan isnt rattling around in there on a worn out pump. pictures later.

water pump

fan and belt

shiny new radiator

i did some more engine bay cleaning, but now all the crap I blew out of the front area is all over the rest of the bay. time for a reclean.

I'm still baffled at the low prices on parts on this thing. I also swapped out the driver side motor mount while I was in there. Can't wait to get a decent road test in today.

well, got both motor mounts in and the air pump is out.
its amazing how much better this truck starts runs and drives with just these changes.

I accidentally tossed the metal 'skirt' away with the driver side mount. I need to find another, someday.

Post some installation photos! I think I'm going that way pretty soon myself.

My 83 is about to embark on it's first road trip in a while...headed down to southern Utah. Tightened up my carb-to-intake bolts, new air filter, and all new rubber fuel lines. Probably my imagination, because it always seems to run better when I give it any kind of attention...but it does seem to be running better

I am interested in getting rid of my stock carb and vacuum lines, though, so I'll be interested to hear how that goes for you.

Thats awesome man! Like you and 83 I think a Webber may be in my future. My stocker is doing fine but I think it needs rebuilt as it has a bit of quirkiness to it.

As 83 said be sure and document you're install, I'd love to see some pics.

On that front bumper, altho i'm currently in amarillo tx, i'm going back to fairbanks alaska next monday the 17th, if you're still looking for one.. the salvage yard i work for there i believe has one in very good shape, and they ship. It's called action auto parts and glass. And i believe we have a few trux out there with that toyota CB, not sure if they would be in workin order or not tho, but i can check, as i'm their electronics guru, lol. Also i use this site alot http://www.car-part.com
