I am amazed at how good of shape those stripes are.

What a difference a coat of wax and stuff does to good clearcoat.

I'm a little disappointed that you took the 'typical American Basement decor' out of the bed/cap.....but damn, that is a clean truck. And yes i'm jealous of the west coast cars, but not the funk.

Amazing.. I'm just drooling over how prestine that thing is! You should be very proud of your truck (and I'm sure you are!). I vote keep it orignal and keep it clean! Again.. Very nice truck you have there!

That's pretty damn cool. And yeah, if you got a great deal on the truck...you could probably make up for quite a bit of it if you sold that tailgate. It's in great shape, just like the rest of the truck. That interior is great. I love the older center tachometer on the instrument cluster. I had one of those clusters for a bit...but realized it was more work than I wanted to put in to get it to work on my 83. I still may do it someday though...I like that style cluster a lot better than my 83. Sweet truck!

And is that a nice mercedes wagon in the garage?

hehe yeah I restore cars in my spare time, the benz wagon is a european model that I've been doing a lengthly resto on.

If you're in the SW end of town, you've prolly seen the truck the guy that owned it worked at the OC golf club.

I 100% plan on keeping it stock and clean. I'm really thrilled with the purchase. This is my first toyota truck and now I know why you guys like em so much.

Here's the benz. It's for sale.

oh, I need a replacement front bumper. I've scoured the 'net and see them for like $129 new [most likely repops] is this a good way to go? I can't imagine there are many straight bumpers floating around at dismantlers...

Those are good tires, you will get a lot of wear out of them. Go for it!

yeah I figure on a truck this light being used mostly for in town work they'll last. I had these on my samurai and they were great.

talked to a friend [who might be on here] who said my power steering [if the head has the holes] is a bolt-on so it's time to start accumulating parts.

so, if anyone wants the shell that's in the portland area, it's now up for grabs for nothin.
I need it out of here. I'm very tempted to leave it behind when I go to the transfer station today.
