driveshaft

I want to lift the front of my truck about 1.5" taller, plan on dropping the hanger a bit and some slightly longer shackles so the truck sits level. Problem is my front driveshaft is at its limit slip and u-joint angle wise, Im wondering what I can do(cheap) to fix this? The shaft has a double cardan joint, im wondering if I can eliminate that and run it a square shaft strait to the tcase flange to slacken the angle a bit ( I dont even think that makes sence?). And even more important, what pinion angle should I be running? might be easier just to fix that (doubt it).

a front shaft off an IFS truck is a good bit longer than the 79-85 SA's
the IFS shaft will work up to about 4"'s of lift
it will also require drilling new holes on the flanges

My stock one is o.k. at 4" of lift, doesn't bind up but with the extra 1.5" it wont be good.

i am running 6" of lift and an IFS driveline and ive never had a problem. Oh and about drilling the flanges you can pull apart the dual cardan joint and swap the flange from your old driveshaft
