ditching the 20R water choke

ditching the 20R water choke
And going to a weber: my question is (and yes fellas, I did use the search button) what the heck do I do about the electric choke on the weber? Run a wire to it from somewhere else? If so, where from?
Long story short, the head warped and I switched to a "new" (to me) head that came with the intake and weber already bolted on. To further complicate things, it also has the boss for the mechanical fuel pump, while my old head didn't. So I'm not real sure which fuel lines go where on the mechanical fuel pump, (it's the older flat topped kind) and I'm baffled as to the electric choke.
So come on guys, help a girl out. I'm new to the Weber world, and my only vehicle is sitting in the driveway waiting for your help.
Also, does anybody know what the casting numbers on the block are for 20R vs 22R? This truck came to me as a basket case, it's an 82 4x4 that's been... er... creatively modded. The head is 20R for certain, the pistons are dometop, but I'm unsure as to the vintage of the bottom end. Double roller chain, again, not sure if the lower end is early 80's 22R or actually all 20R.
Thank you guys!

Oh yeah, and I can post pics if needed.

Well, I'd really like to get it running sooner rather than later. Right now I'm already waiting on the replacement bracket for the power steering pump (the original one had snapped the ear off on one side, causing the belts to be all tweaked out in alignment), and I'd rather not have to wait too much longer for anything else.
Not to mention, I have no idea how to replace the electric choke with a manual one, and I really don't want to tear apart a perfectly working carb and screw it all up. I've heard too many horror stories about people jacking up their webers for me to want to join the statistics.
I'll see about gettin some pics up on photobucket here shortly.

I converted my 20r to a weber with electric choke its not hard. Just run a line that only just power when the engine is on. Better idea would be to splice into the power wire on your fuel pump. It just needs any 12v.
To check what the block is look down by where the oil dipstick goes into the block, itll be stamped on the block either 20r or 22r
