Cracked intake manifold

To start off I have a 84 pickup with the 22R. I was in the process of cleaning up the engine bay by desmogging the engine. While I was putting this plug in I cracked the manifold and now it it leaking water along the red lines. I know the Offy intakes are expensive but I am going to need a new intake regardless now and stock ones are difficult to find for cheap. I am currently running a weber 32/36 that came with the truck and plan on putting a weber 38 on it later. My question is will a single plan intake work best with the weber 38 later on? This truck is strictly a toy used to idle around and at high rpm in the mud too.

I had the Dual plane with my 32/36 setup and it was great for "off the line grunt". I highly recommend if you stay with the 32/36.

The 38, being syncronus barrels, kills the whole point of the dual plane. If going to the 38 get the single plane.
