Chassis lube spots.

Hi all,

I bought a small hand held grease gun that holds the smaller 3 oz tubes of grease, I decided I wanted to lube the zerks.

I found the one on the joint from the driveshaft to the transfer case and also found the 2 on the joint from the transfer case to the shaft going into the front diff, and the 4th one I found was the one on the joint going into the front diff.

so found 4 total, 3 took about 6 or 7 pumps of grease before coming out the zerk the 4th came out right away? maybe clogged???

anyway, where else can I find zerks to lube on my 82 4x4?

thanks guys.

p.s. I also bought a arosol can of grease and sprayed moving parts, figured it cant hurt, right? like the bottom and top of shock mounts, the shackles of the leafsprings and a few things up front. also the doors.

Do you have a service manual? It shows all the spots, and I'm sure you could fine one online. My truck has the little sun visor insert that shows all the spots to lube. There are steering components on the front that need lubing, maybe somebody with a diagram will post it, but a Factory Service Manual or even a Haynes or Chilton will likely outline all the places to grease.
