buying an 80 pickup

buying an 80 pickup
so i found a 1980 toyota pickup and am 95 percent sure i am gonna buy it. i was wondering if their was anything i should look for before i do. this truck was offroaded before its at 75000 mile lifted 5 inches like 3 years ago

psst -- '80 didn't have a 6th speedo digit, it's probably at least 175k and more likely 275k.
look for the typical stuff, rust mostly. make sure the tranny is still alive, they were notoriously weak in those years.

lostyota: welcome to the forum.
i love the 1st gen pickups. they look so aggressive... I would trade my truck for one in fine running order.
like kyle said, look for rust everywhere. If you plan on body lifting it, examine the body mounts for rust closely.
