Question Brake Line Threads

I am hooking up all the hard lines on my '81 this weekend, but I would like to clean up the threads on the fittings first. I've read where threads on the fittings are M10X1.0, is this correct? Is there another way to clean these threads instead of using a M10X1.0 die?

Thanks,

Just run all new lines. They are cheap if you bend them yourself.
