Bobbing long bed

I have a 83 sr5 long bed with the bed off an 89. I want to bob the bed about 14-15 inches. I have a few concerns. when I cute the section out will the body line on the bottom line up and what things will I run in to with this mod other than I will have to cut down the frame a little. Any help would be much appreciated.

it'll look weird with a long wheel base. to each his own though. You'll probably need to bob the frame a little. I'd drop it down to 11-12" not 14-15.

Save the long bed. Their rare man
And they look good lifted. Always wanted one, would hate to see one diced up.

Agreed with the ~10" bob. I don't think it'd look weird at all.
