would a 87 bed work on a 82 yota?

im not sure about the bed length for the 82 but the 87 is 6 foot 6 inches

I have seen 89-95 beds bolt right up to not only a first gen-79-83 but also on a second gen 84-88.
Measure the distance between bed mounts and such.

That bed will have different body lines then your cab.

 

a 3rd gen bed actually lines up better as far as body lines...

 

It will fit, just make sure it is a different color than the cab, and get a topper that is a third color. Otherwise, it will look bad.

 

haha thanks cause it sucks haveing no weight in the rear i can pick up the back tires by my self =(


and fare as paint goes its gonna be caterpillar yellow with cat decals
i thought it will look pretty nice for a trail truck
