I have an '85 4Runner with an awesome running gear and linkage setup, but I was wondering if this could all be transferred onto a pre '84 chassis with ease? Keep in mind, I don't have a lot of tools, just your very basic setup, and while I understand that it's a lot of work, I'll have ample time this summer. I'm just kind of curious.

 

That shouldnt be to much of a problem at all. Only things you might run into are trans mount mismatch, and driveshaft length etc. Nothing you cant solve pretty easy.

 

So if I want to swap out basically everything, engine, transmission, t-case w/ crawl box, bilsteins, axels, etc. etc., the mounts are similar or am I looking at creating a lot of new mounts and brackets?
