83 Toyota crawler
I just bought my 3rd toyota!
its a 1983 Toyota 4x4 22R with a weber carb and custom exhaust. it has a 5" skyjacker lift with 2" shackle for a 7" total lift, its runnin 35x16x15 super swamper TSL boggers on 15x12 centerline rims, its geared with 5.29 with a detroit locker in the rear. the bed was bobbed 12", and it also has an exo cage over the cab and bed along with home made sliders and a front stinger. as for the interior it has seats out of an acura integra with some 4 point racing harnesses along with stock seat belts for comfrot on the roads.
my plans are to swap out the skyjacker kit with stock yota rear leafs up front and 63" chevies out back and drop it down to about 4-5" lift with 35x12.5x15 BFGs on 15x8 black steel rims and add in high steer...
if any one is interested in some skyjacker leafs or a 2" lifted shackle pm me other parts will be for sale as well local pick up would be better thanks
as for pics I will load some up in a bit

Overall I think it is a pretty good truck. I have Integra seats too in my '81 and think they are pretty dang comfortable...though the leather you have would be cool...and your Igloo center console is better than my .50 Cal ammo can..
Was the DS exo down tube kinked when it was bent or just some trail rash? Having both sets of belts is something i need to do too...Enjoy...
oh and unless you are waiting for the new style BFG MT's, good luck finding them in a 35x12.5x15 in the old style. They are pretty much out of stuck from what I have been finding...I need one to match a set I have...

Is that a newer engine? Or at least newer valve cover...the '83 and earlier ones had more rounded, not square, edges. Not that it makes any difference. Nice looking truck!

well I have a guy coming to get the jeep tomorrow and so looks like I will be able to keep the truck for my self, it will be my DD...
my plans for it will be a lil set back till I can come up with funds to do so but to get it comfortable to drive on the streets I definately need better tires... so the boggers got to go and I need a new front tie rod as well

33" tires + 5.29 gears + 5th gear + 65mph = 2975 RPM
33" tires + 5.29 gears + 4th gear + 75mph = 4038 RPM.
