So I and a buddy of mine bought a 83 single cab long bed. it has a 4spd trans and I am not sure if a 22/20r hybrid or a strait 20r. I looked at the machine flat pad on the driver side and it says 1231258.... can I safely assume that this is a 20r or is there one more way to tell? like a timing chain is diffrent?

Any real benefit to putting a 22r back in?
