82-83 A/C switch
whos got FACTORY A/C in there 82-83 ?
I have a full system that I just restored for this truck , but I'm not sure where the switch goes in the dash ?

ok , so I have the wrong switch , switch I got is the "leaver" type for the 79-81's . I need the rotary switch , which is apparently 4 speed , instead of 3 .
Apparently there is a ring that goes around the switch to indicate when it is a/c ?
anybody ?

You are correct. You need the rotary switch which is indeed 4 speed with a ring that actuates/adjusts the A/C.

thank you FourEyes .. I've seen pics like that but no close ups , I wasnt quite understanding .
I did order the switch , found one at the dealer , but the face plate , is it a decal or a whole face plate , I cant for the life of me find a part # or anything , and the original dosnt come off
