Yeah you could just have gummed up linkages on the choke. Hard to say though

Success

So I got tired of swapping out carbs, wasting my time trying to figure out what was wrong and needing this truck on the road (DDing a suburban right now); I ended up buying a new Weber and adapter gaskets. So far I'm happy to report that it works flawlessly, and now I can get on to more fun parts of the project.

So I got tired of a multi-colored truck so I rolled some rustoleum. In hind sight I should get more lighting for my garage so I can see what I'm doing, but it turned out okay I think though.

Its hunter green. So with a one gallon of denatured alcohol mixed with my gas, I passed emissions easily the first go. Should my truck sound like a diesel though? I have gotten a few people asking if it was and it does sound like one when its idling.

New Tires

So I got some new shoes for the old girl. I like how it looks. They are 33x10.5x15 BFG All Terrains.

Chevies are stupid easy to do. Just pre fab your hangers and stuff ahead of time and you can have it done in like 3 hours no problem.

Yeah they might be pretty easy except I don't really have a welder that I would feel good about welding that important piece of suspension on.

Actually I think mine is one of those black edition. It had black interior and the paint was originally black.

What sort of welder have you got? I burned mine in with a 110v wire feed running .030 flux core.
