if its for your "future trail rig" than dont wast your time... save your money for marlin or allpro... or hell even trail gear... that setup will ride like a brick and flex like shiit.

I have installed a few bolt on lift kits and if you just want to look good being lifted stuffing big tires that pound the pavement this is a good lift for you! But what a waste of money. I have a Pro comp 4" lift in my backyard I can sell you so you can bolt it up and kick yourself later!

If you want a worthy suspension off road spend some money and get a real lift. I am now running 4" trail gear springs and the flex is baffling. I have 14" travel shocks with extended brakelines and at full droop they are maxed!

But seroiusly lockers, gears, and tires is where I would put my money first. Lifted on all-seasons, stock gears with open diffs is just funny in the mud pits.

for that price nothing,

good lift kits require welding modifications as well. run those 3" PC springs for awhile buy a welding machine learn to weld save some dough buy a real lift thats my evolution i am sure in a couple years i will have a tube thing on links and air !

dont worry unless this lift is for a trail only rig

Downey sells a set of four 3" springs for $378.10. You still need a bunch more stuff.

If it is really bad I will skip it. I don't need the greatest flex, I just wanted more than stock and to clear bigger tires. If not this I was planning on the marlin kit.

It is!, and please do, the PO of my truck was nice enough to put these on. If you want to do it cheap put rears up front, and chevys in the rear. You will need new spring hangers for the back, and shackles.

Otherwise you might also consider Trail Gear.

Exploder Pure Crap is a waste of time and money. It's a lift, not a suspension. You'll put it on, hate it, and start saving your money all over again for something good. Go with Marlin or the like and do it right the first time.

Those bolt on POS lift kits will never flex like this you will be half way body rolling over on your top in the same position.

I am not at full flex yet! DUDE! worth the extra money trust me skyjacker/procomp/rough country and any other poser lift kit! I have heard marlins spring is better than trail gears spring but here is a trail gears 4" I am impressed! make it any better hell ya!

lets be realistic if ya got $2000 laying around burning a hole in your pocket then trail-gear, allpro, marlin are the way to go. if you want it up to fit some 33"s so you can get started hitting some trails then by all means procomp will work great. start saving and practicing your welding skills and upgrade as finances and time allow. im sure all these guys didnt start out on 35" tires, beadlocks, trailgear suspension, highsteer, full exocage, dual t-cases, lockers, i sure as hell didnt.

RIGHT!!! just because some of us don't have the money or ability to do some of the stuff that these guys do, that's no reason to slam us for tryin. (when I say us, I mean the guys who are just starting out, and may not have built rigs yet.)
