Those look sweet. I got a set of these from a junk yard for $60. They are a little big so I don't have the room to back up and make more leg room. Seat tracks did not match to the truck had to cut seat frame to match truck bolts.

I know this thread is old, but if you're still around, what model car are the seats out of and how much leg room did you lose?

These seats are from an 89 Astro van. These are the middle captain seats. I had to cut the seat frame to fit and make a grove in the seat frame to fit the truck floor. The seats were almost the same size of my previous seats, I did not lose leg room. The height was the problem, the seats did not have normal track they are fixed seats. In the van these seats lean forward from the base they are fixed in place. I had to cut almost 3 inches off the frame so that I can sit in truck and see out of the windshield. Other then that the seats are great and they cost me $50 for both form a pick and pull.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm going to walk through some salvage yards next week and will keep this in mind. This along with a carpet source I found in another post are very helpful in finishing up my truck.

If you are going down the path of new interior I will like to recommend sound deadening on the floor, also with some sort of pad between the carpet and the sound deadening panels. Makes a big different in the noise inside the cabin at high speeds. I don't know if you can get your hands on carpet glue from a upholstery shop but everything else you can purchase at the auto parts store sucks except the 3M products
THIS ONE THIS ONE
Its expensive as $%!T but its the only thing that does not peel off in 6 months.

It's been awhile, but I finally found some seats. I got the pair for $50 out of a '97 Mercedes E320. I'm going to try to wire up the electronics and heaters in the seats. I'm parking the truck this winter, so I'll most likely wait until November until installing them, but at least I now have a plan.

Wow, those are nice. We've got some kind of buckets in ours but I'd honestly prefer a bench. I'll have to see what I can find, not sure what others have used.

I'm finally getting ready to install these. There's a total of six motors for the two seats. I started out thinking a selector switch for left or right and a switch for each motor, but got to thinking that a I don't want that many switches. Now I'm thinking a left-right switch and with DPDT relays I can get away with a total of four switches, possibly in the console. I'd like a selector knob and one switch, but can't find a 6 position rotary switch that will work for me. I'm giving up on getting the heaters to work. There's so much wiring in these and I can't find a schematic on them anywhere. I'm also looking into some way to make my shifters look better. I can't find shifter boots, so I guess I'm going to walk through the junkyard and look for a console out of some other car I can butcher to fit my truck.

I finally got the seats in the truck. With the cab being so small, there's not much room for adjustment, but they're more comfortable than stock and they're heated. I never use the small console, so I figured it was a good spot to hide the controls. The lighted blue switches outside are for the heat.
