i just install a megasquirt 3 v3.57 on my toy 1983 22r witch a rain last year with the stock carb ,turbo, intercooler with mechanical advance distributor an an innovate sgc1 boost controller with wide band running at 24 pounds of boost to fix the stalling problem caused by the carb in extreme situation
i fitted a 22re manifold and ignition system with 400 cc injectors and a new megasquirt v3 and i have some problem controlling the advance with the megasquirt , it stay in fixed timing all the time
i it possible my ignition module ( used ) is defect
or if i im not sending the right signal at the right wire to control the timing
have you ever seen a spark module not controlling the timing

 

The tccs or efi computer controls timing advance. Which you dont have. Since you are using a MS you'll need to check your timing maps and the IGt wiring..
