1979 20R head on a 93 22R block, will it work?

I have recently acquired a 22R laser block for my 79 hi-lux pickup. I don't want to have to go through the process of making it a fuel injected motor due to funds, so i was wondering if my head on my 20r would work. i have only 17k on the head and would like to be able to mount it strait in to my header and intake.
any info on the subject would be much appreciated.

MY LC Engineering Stage 5 Pro-Stroker motor has a late 22R model block and a 20R head.

as long as you have a 22r not a 22re then it should work fine but the intake wont mount up right on injected motors ive seen a few sites that sell a kit for 22re/20r head swap but i didnt trust it. any ways hope this helps
