'79-'83 NEW shortbed rear parking brake cable
Free shipping, a rear parking brake cable for '79-'83 4x4 toyota pickups. This is for short bed only. I have a long bed, and could not find the correct length. This one came up short while I was installing it. This part is $35.79 on Rock Auto, and I paid for shipping. I'm now including free shipping, and selling you this cable for a flat $35.00, paypal accepted, free shipping.
Since I installed it and 2 days later took it off since it was a bit too short for my long bed truck, I'm offering free shipping. The scuffs it has from installation and removal are minimal, but too much for me to return it. You save on shipping because of this. Because, I mean, who cares about a few scuffs unless you're doing a concours restoration, which I bet you are not. I also slightly enlarged the holes for where the brake lever pins go, as they were slightly too small when I got it, even after slightly filing down my pins. I did this precisely, using machinist's drill bits one step at a time until it was the perfect size. (I work in a metal fabrication shop.) Even though Raybestos is supposed to be "the Best in Brakes", they overlooked this small detail. So I've done some of the work for you already.
