1983-1989 Bumper End Cap Bolt Covers: 3D Printed ABS
I just did a lot of searching and couldn't find these anywhere. The solution for me was to model and print them. They popped right in and cleaned up the front end nicely after replacing the bumper ends. Someone told me I should sell them so here's the thread to make that happen. Anybody want these? I think I'll do $20 shipped for a pair.
There are two orientations to print these. The flat side down is nice, aesthetically, but is very weak. The tradeoff is to print them on their side just as they exist on the bumper. This is very strong, but they have a few rough edges. I don't think this is really noticeable when they're on the truck, but it is when they're in your hand. I can print the more fragile version upon request if this is just a garage queen, but they tend to break upon install, so there is a learning curve to get them in... Those would be more expensive for the fuss.
I decided to ship the stronger ones since they're more durable and people can touch them up if they chose to. I'll post a picture of a not-touched-up one installed just so you can see.
$20 shipped for two ABS bumper end cap bolt covers. Please email seshsgarage[et]gmail[dot]com. DM's here are checked but maybe once a month, if that.
Higher aesthetic quality, less strong - email to discuss pricing lower aesthetic quality, very strong - $20 a pair, shipped
