4Runner SunTop soft top
I have one of the original SunTop soft tops for a 1st gen 4runner. Top itself is in surprisingly good shape, no tear, rips, etc. These are extremely rare, as only ~500 were ever made back in the 90s.
Unfortunately it is missing some of the mounting hardware, so you will have a little research/ fab work to do. Aside from the frabric it includes the main hoops and straps, but is missing the bed flat mounting rails and one of the rear short support bars. These should be easy to fabricate by anybody wit ha little patience and skill.
Info on teh story and pics of what this top loosk like here

and also check the NC4x4 link for more.

I did not get it fully stretched. I did not try any tricks like running it through a dryer, etc. Happens that most of the time I was working on it was not really warm days, either. I suspect that going overi t with a hair dryer would probably help.
Part of the problem is the need for a channel to snap it onto, to serve as a target for stretching and hold it in place.
I had problems with my rear tailgate window, and realized that if I couldn't get that to work, thsi top would not suit my needs. I eneded up giving up on it for that reason and got a KTT.
