1986 4Runner radio

I’m looking for an oem radio for my truck. Trying to do some restomod work to it to bring back the 80s charm

No leads on the OEM ones, but if you are going the restomod route I came across this recently: https://80smodern.bigcartel.com/prod...luetooth-radio

Thanks that looks cool I can’t believe I haven’t come across that in my search yet. If I can’t find an oem one I’ll definitely go with this.

I’ll be going to a huge swap meet tomorrow. If i come across a deal on one i’ll keep you in mind. (And yes, i also think Yotatech is kind of dead).

Good to know, keep the faith. I swore to my kids I’d never sell my truck so I’m in the process of restoring it a bit. Used it as my camping rig for 8 years until kids outgrew it. Now it is finally going to get paint and a heater and AC

and time to get the dried cheese stains out of the carpet

Holy large price. On eBay look for same era Cressida and Corolla radios. I got a Cressida one that is the same model # as the '85 4Runner one with the built in equalizer for about $150. I have not installed mine yet though.

Exactly. I’m not paying $500+ for an ‘80s Toyota radio either. If you come across another radio with the built in equalizer for $150, give me a heads up…I need one for my ‘86 4Runner.

EDIT: Scratch that; I found a radio.

I’m still looking!!!! Problem is many on eBay don’t have the harness. Let me know if you have one laying around or for any good leads
