1984 Toyota SR5 4wd Xtra Cab Truck 22R 5 Speed in Upstate SC
1984 Toyota truck, extended cab 4x4 with the SR5 package, 22R four cylinder with a 5 speed manual transmission with 144k original miles. Runs and drives pretty good. Original white with brown trim and brown/tan interior. Bucket seats, power windows, air conditioning, power steering, bed liner, Sony AM/FM/CD player, Smittybilt rear tubular bumper, Goodyear Wranglers on factory alloy wheels.
Its a 30 year old truck so it needs a few things but is a very solid original truck without any rust. Its an original solid axle truck from the factory. It still has the original Aisin two barrel carb on it that could stand to be rebuilt. Right now its set to idle a little high. The motor is strong and has plenty of power.
The interior is in good shape for a 30 year old truck but its starting to show its age. With the SR5 package it has the nicer upgraded gauge cluster with factory tach. The clutch is good and the transmission shifts like it should. The 4wd system works great in both high and low range.
The truck came from the Charlotte/Gastonia area originally and has been in the upstate South Carolina area a few years. It hasn't been abused or been in the salt or off road extensively. The truck honestly deserves a good home where it will be restored as solid and original as it is. So many of these have been hacked up, lifted, etc. I've used it some at our property and wouldn't be letting go of it but I have a newer Tacoma. I just don't drive it enough to justify keeping it.
Asking $5400 or best reasonable cash offer. I really don't need anything but would consider a partial trade on an FJ60 or a Honda four wheeler or other interesting things. Clear SC title.
