Tacoma 5-Speed Conversion Kit
This is a kit of most of the mechanical parts that you would need to convert an automatic Tacoma (with a 3.4l 5VZ-FE V-6), to a 5-speed. $1,000 - (it is currently listed on the Denver CL for $1,200)
It includes:
R150F 5-speed transmission
Transfer case with speed sensor unit
Transmission support crossmember
Clutch pedal assembly with switches and pig tails
Clutch master cylinder
Fluid tubes (plumbing)
Clutch slave cylinder
Brake pedal assembly with switch and pig tail
Front drive shaft
Rear drive shaft
Shift lever and knob
Transfer case lever and knob
Inner rubber lever boots and hold down ring
Outer leather boots and bezel - gray
Clutch start cancel switch and pig tail
Mecanically, about all you need, besides this, would be a flywheel and a clutch kit.
It should work with any long frame Tacoma, and could be made to work with a short frame Tacoma or a 4Runner. Please be sure to check your application for yourself, first!
The equipment is from a 2002 Tacoma, and has 67k miles of use on it, and was working well when it was removed from the truck.
I would prefer that this be picked up, but I can arrange delivery within a reasonable distance from Breckenridge, for a milage charge. I can also crate this stuff up (for time and materials), if need be, BUT the freight charge is likely to be pretty high.
