[Michigan] Manual and Auto Transmissions - R150, A340H, A340F 2wd & 4x4
I have a few transmissions and engines around that I wouldn't mind selling. Best format is probably a list, so here it is.
*note* i was thinking A340H, but when I double checked it was a A43D, sorry for the misleading title.
4x4 Transmissions
R150 (old style) 89 pickup 3vz around 200k miles still in truck frame & covered
R150 (old style) 90 pickup 3vz around 200k miles
A340 (F I think) from a 99 Tacoma 3rz (2.7L) 295k miles, bought truck from original owner, ran and drove great except the fact the back section of the frame was ripped apart in a wreck. Also have bottom end of engine left (short block) which will need an oil pan (pin holes).
Rebuilt W56 91 pickup (no bell housing) spins very smoothly with drill power, bearings/gears sound great (silent). Took this in on a trade for another W56 of a different layout (86 era), so miles are unknown. The guy mentioned the wrong input shaft seal was installed, so that should be swapped out before installing in your truck.
2WD Transmissions:
A43D 95 pickup (pre-tacoma) 22re, untested but told was good, truck had a bad engine, frame, and body. Still in truck. Under 200k (160k from memory)
R150 92 pickup 3vz 128k miles, untested, but seems clutch came apart. Still in truck
Also have some older W and G series, but I need to go though them since a couple were bad in the pile.
Can get photos etc at request or whenever I remember to take my camera to where they are stored. If you need a 3VZ, I have something like 4 of them, some with really low miles (104k) and others that would be good for a core/rebuild (512k miles). Most of the 3VZ's are still in their trucks, so you can hear it run before being pulled. I do have one that's half disassembled too, so might be able to ship some parts from it. Also have one 22RE that runs well with 223k miles fully dressed from a 91 (from memory) pickup.
Looking for local pickup, and fair prices for both you and me. We can work details out via pm. Delivery might be an option depending on distance and how much you'd be willing to spend on transporting. I've driven 400+ miles round trip for some of the trucks in my yard, so distance isn't a major problem, just covering funds for gas and a little for time.

Reserved photo post for when I do take photos (i'll grab a couple from the machines in my yard).
Photo details in order:
1. 2wd A43D Transmission 95 Pickup (pre tacoma), not a great photo, but it's in the truck yet. Oil on it is from the dead engine.
2. 1993 (from memory, i can double check) 3.0L 3vz with 104k miles, it's done a bit of sitting like most low mileage trucks. Starts and runs well, front of frame is broke so steering is a challenge. Truck is 4x4 and manual (R150 trans) and 4.10 geared axles.
3. 1990 3.0L 3vz with 128k miles, it's also sat quite a long time. Story on it is it quit moving, diag suggests the clutch fiber came apart. engine runs well, pulled intake parts for another truck, but can swap back if you want to hear it run. This R150 2wd trans is going to be parted out, need any parts?
