What year is your 22re, and where does the part bolt on. I looked up some photos and it didn't really ring a bell. I have 86 and 95 22re parts.

Mine is a 1987. The IACV is located right under the throttle body, where the intake hose goes in, look toward the ground and youll see it. Its black and it has a hose coming out of it.

I checked my other 86 truck and see where it goes. I'll have to check the 86 parts engine's lower intake to see if it is still attached to it.

Looks like I must have sold it when I sold the lower intake on ebay, probably why it sold so quickly lol. The engine I saw the location on I don't drive, but the engine is complete currently, so kind of hate to pull parts unless I can get an interested buyer in other parts off it (intake, head etc). If I come across one I'll add another reply. I do have a 4runner that the engine basically came as a box of parts and a block, just not sure where that box is off hand.

Check out this link.

Looks like it might interchange with some aftermarket parts and also shows some other models you might be able to pick at a local salvage yard.
