A/C Compressor for '87 4Runner 22R-E

The front seal on mine went bad. Need a replacement. Anyone have one in good working condition? I'm in Birmingham, AL (35216).

Current one below:

You'll likely buy another used one that leaks as bad, or worse than the one you've got. Most any one you will find has been in service 20 years, or more.

Have you considered repairing yours?? That said, I have found that they often lose their seal because the compressor front bearing gets sloppy from long wear.

AC repairs are something that it doesn't pay to skimp on.

I don't even like to buy remanufactured AC compressors, because of past bad experiences.

I'll buy a brand new one every time, even if it costs three times what a rebuilt does.

You should be able to find a new Denso compressor for less than $300. Good luck

Not sure if you're still looking, but I have one from a pickup that did a lot of sitting, 125k miles on the truck. I'm unsure if all seals are good or not, I bought the truck as a parts truck, non-running.
