It's about tools - I think it is important to have that be part of the URL. I'm still open though. If there is something that sounds "right" that doesn't say "tool" in it, I'll certainly consider it.

Yeah, my vote was originally for DEEZNUTS as Amir said, but since it didn't have tool in the name...

I pulled the trigger and registered this one already. Thanks for the input everyone!!! A special thanks to RLJ3RD for the keeper. When I get it setup and have the merchandizing in place, RLJ3RD will be getting a little "gift".

Thanks again everyone!!

The new forum is up! Come on over and check it out. It will obviously only get better over time with lots of input. We are currently populating the Manufacturer's links area. I tried to keep the look and feel similar to YT cause I like this place so much.

i just wanted to bump this thread in case some of yall have still not visited this forum. even though it is still a new forum, there are some EXTREMELY talented and helpful people over there.

i go over there looking for advice on cordless tools, and i see threads on custom CNC machinery...thangs... most of that stuff is way over my head, but its amazing. even if yall don't need any advice, stop by every once in a while and check out some of these guys shop setups and current projects. they are beyond cool.

A+ for the toolandfab forum!

Thanks for the props Garrett.

All of us regulars over there pledged to keep the atmosphere nice and non-threatening - just like Yotatech! Unfortunately, many of the existing tool and fabrication sites are like Pirate. Flaming and hazing is the norm. Not for us though.

Other sites are a little limited in their subject matter. Our goal is to have a broad offering - having a little bit of everything tool and fabrication related. We are well on our way to realizing that goal!

We have a great bunch of members with a really broad overall knowledgebase - I feel fortunate to have "met" them! We're nearing 300 members and have over 300 threads/2000 posts. Great writeups and reviews too!

We even have a free member photo gallery now. More "stuff" is planned too!
