Car Lift

Car Lift
I'm building a shop and want to put a lift in, anything special i should do to the concrete? I was going to put extra re-bar where I plan to put the lift and 3000 or 4000 psi concrete. Anything else?

I would make sure its at least 6" thick, although the lift company said 4" would suffice. Make sure you start with a good underlayment to keep it from settling after its installed. As for the concrete itself, rebar and the whatnot are a definite pre-requisite. When we built the garage that we have a lift in, we used concrete with fiberglass resin in it to make it stronger.
But overall, it seems like you've got everything else covered. Good luck- its cool have a shop with a lift to work in on your own time.
