Has anyone ran Spartan lockers? There a few hundred cheaper than Detroit or Yukon but am not sure if the quality is there. If anyone is running them do you like it and is it reliable? Thanks

 

I have a spartan in the rear and I love it. I installed it myself and it was very easy. As far as performance I've never had any problems with it and it's a 1000 times better than open diffs. For the price I don't think you can beat them.

 

Have one installed in rear for two years. No problems and easy install. Does everything a mech. locker is supposed to do. If you drive on pavement you will have to adjust driving style in curves and turns

 

If you are looking for a lunchbox locker, make sure you check out the Lock Rights as well. They have been around for many more years than the spartan lockers and are extremely reliable.

 

Ran both spartan and lockright, like them both, alot of hard trails never broke, for the price, the spartan wins as it's cheaper Great warranty's on both as well

 

How are they on the road? Mine is a daily driver that I occasionally take on the trails.
