Thumbs up Cool It

Just installed my cool it wrap by Thermo TEch. I saw it advertised to reduce engine temps dramatically. You wrap it onto your header or manifold and strap it down with metal straps. it is like fiberglass and graphite and works great. especially since i just recently put my FIPK in. Cooler engine compartment temps means cooler air, which = more horses and better MPG. I can definately tell a difference in both. Got it from alamomotorsports.com

eventually tho the heat build up inside your heades caused by that wrap will cause them to get too hot and crack or warp.

Probably

Your Are Probably Right, But The Mechanic I Talked To Said That If I Had Aluminum Headers It Might Eventually Cause Problems, But B/c I Have A Cast Manifold Right Now, It Shouldn't Cause Any Harm Due To The Strength Of The Cast. But If It Cracks It Will Give Me A Reason To Order Headers From Lcengineering!
