I will add to this thread of great customer service:
I ordered a part from Marlin Crawler, it was an adapter that they made and the guy told me it was $40. I got a call back about a week later from another guy and he says that the first guy was totally wrong, that they used to make that part but the don't anymore and I would have to buy the actual Toyota part. So how much is that? $210.00. Ok well nevermind I don't need it that bad. So the guy tells me to hold on and when he comes back he says that since the other guy quoted me $40, they will honor that quote and give me the $210 Toyota part for $40. Sweet!
So I get the part and it is the wrong part. I call the guy up and we determine which part I need, an even more rare, more expensive part. Is it going to cost more? No they still honor their original $40 quote and send me a return shipping label for the other part and the hassle. That is cool.
Both of these stories are a testiment to going beyond customer service to ensuring customer satisfaction.

I will add to the Marlin part.
Me and my brother ordered a tranny from Marlin. He asked us for the shipping address, we told him we would come and pick it up since we only live a few hours away. Problem was we couldnt do it till Saturday, and they were closed.
Well he open the shop on saturday, put the final touches on the tranny (a part you take of your original) helped load it up and then gave us a bunch of marlin stuff, because we drove out to pick it up. Too cool.
My brother's buddy broke a marfield on the Rubicon, Marlin drove out that day and brought , installed a new one because he broke it, all from a call to see if he (brothers buddy) could get a new one shipped.
Good customer service will get me to return as long as the price is reasonable. I would just as soon pay a couple bucks more for good CS, than a few buck less and then have to go thru BS if its wrong.

I purchased my replacement Master / Slave Clutch Cylinders from toyotapartsales.com and received the correct OEM parts promptly for as cheap as I could have picked up rebuilt aftermarket ones locally. Of course, Phil didn't come to my house to help me install them, so I can only say that their Customer Service goes so far...

trdparts4u.com is the BOMB! I'm a very satisfied customer. Thanks to Gerone, Jacque, and Phil for a good price on ARB Freezer/Fridge with some freeby stuff and a bunch of ARB/OME stickers. Fast shipping and the items are properly packed.

Joining in on the love fest-I really could not be friendly and helpful every single day at work-but everyone at trdparts4u.com sure is.
Not sure what school you go to exactly to pick that kind of customer service up-I think they were just born that way....
You see my lift-you know the folks that sell Old Man Emu, I shopped around for best price-end of story. Every single question answered promptly and correctly, frequently within minutes.
Very glad to have heard about them. Will continue to send Toyota buyers to TX for parts every day.

Just got done with a great transaction/price from strap22.
Salesperson named Gerone took care of me.
Found the part # for a piece that I needed, and got it out to me at a great price!
I got a response from a Toyota dealership in Denver saying that "employees can not buy the part at that price (cost), plus they add 10%"
Either she was lying or thought I was lying?
It looks like he saved me $156 on a fairly pricey piece.
Thanks again!
