Are you kidding?

C'mon man, you've got to accept whatever comes through.

Make the best what you can out of it.

Typical hunter's spirit, don't be surprised.

I love wet weather, did I mention it?

I don't mind an afternoon squall, but when you get into the 2-day straight pouring rain thing, that is enough for me. I can only spend so much time in my tent or trudging through the mud.

Wet weather leads to one of the great mysteries of life.

You spend all day bouncing from rock to rock in powerdery dust on the mesa tops- thousands upon thousands of volcanic rocks from pebbles to 10" and bigger. When it gets wet, they all disappear, and you end up cutting 8" deep ruts thru clay that seems to have no rocks in it at all.

IT's WEIRD

The only thing wet weather camping leads me to... is a hotel.

btw crawler, next time I'm in AZ if you see your rig towed away by a 4Runner- don't worry it's just me. I'll return it after I've trail-rated it in Cali!

Yea, you guys have gotta see Mark's truck in person now that he had all of the "fancy" stuff done to it! I agree - great description of the area Mark.

BTW, we saw you on 89 yesterday on our way back from the farmer's market. and I flashed the lights and 'd but you didn't see us.
