You wouldnt believe how many of those jeeps i've seen break rear axle shafts

 

I also got to try out the new HID lights! The first picture is of my high beams only (IPF H4 housings with PIAA Xtreme white bulbs). It looks like my headlights suck, but they are really bright. The HIDs are brighter in person too

Yeah, as soon as I heard the snap I knew what happened. It is a harder spot than it looks. The start of this video is the spot where he broke, all the rigs in the video (besides for the taco) are locked front and rear with 37"s.

I went up there alone, so he was not part of my group... but he lives only a couple blocks from me! I've run into him a couple times in the past.

 

HID lights are amazing!

 

I was born in Durango but grew up in the Four Corners area. I'd love to come back and do La Plata Canyon and then hit up Imogene into Telluride.
