Snow Pics

The storm today on the west coast gave me a good chance to have some fun in the 4runner. heres some pics of my day, sorry about the crappy quality they were taken on my phone:

lol it snowed in Roseville / sacramento too... it hasn't snowed here since I was in 6th grade... a couple of us here had a little fun around pollock pines haha

yeah it was great i had a blast. I just wish I had a locker but hey part of the fun is getting stuck right?

toyospearo did the storm completely miss you? usually the high north gets way more snow than us

howd you like your All Terrains on the snow? i had mine out on the snow the other weekend and they did horrible but it was icy and i didnt air down.

thats all i got for now but this weekend a buddy of mine that drives a yota might go up to dog crick and get some snow on our tires

No i didnt air down it was a last minute decision to go up so i didnt even think about it. I figured getting stuck would all be part of the fun my all terrains did ok they wernt the best but i was suprised how good i was doing compared to the deep snow i was in. In some places there was snow coming over the hood and my traction was just fine usually

Nice snow pics!

I wish it snowed here. It was just cloudy and about 25 degrees.

It rained a few hours before it got dark though, so at least we have some ice to look forward to in the morning.

yeah its been absolutely freezing here. 14 degrees in the california foothills is a rare thing.

here is a couple of our run to the knik glacier. not much snow accumulation cause the wind sweeps it all away at -20! good scenery though:

not hard core wheeling cause my rig is still being rebuilt but here is a quick exploration trip, oh yeah and the end section we are parked and having a fire on a glacier, there is global warming for you:flipoff2:






surprisingly we have not had much snow yet, i am still waiting for the big dumps to start happening for the fun wheeling.

^^^what kind of rig is that yellow truck? does it look like a 4 door 1st gen 4runner or is it just me?

WOW please tell me you need glasses? that is a JEEP XJ.....it is a sad sad day when some one looks at a jeep and calls it a toyota..... i mean come on.....lol
