Me and my girlfriend went up to the Sierra Buttes the Saturday after Thanksgiving looking for snow but didn't find any; however, we went up an easy 4wheel drive trail to a lake right at the base of the Buttes. No real "wheelin" pics but some pretty scenery. Top of the Buttes is ~8500 ft

Yeah I was really wanting some really good snowy pictures of rivers and the buttes etc. I wasn't even thinkin I was gunna be able to get close to the buttes. Last time this year there was around 10ft up there
