I had a great time! That trail is a lot more fun now with all the rain.
Climbing up to Pancake Rock was fun too! Coming down was unnerving though.
I hope to see some pictures.

I'm such a fool. I left our video camera on the last time I captured video so it drained the battery. Alea charged the battery, but didn't check the position of the mode switch becuase it shouldn't have been on. So it drained the fresh battery too. So we would have had some cool video if it wasn't for me.
I had an awesome time. That trail is fun. The creepy rednecks were neat too. The chick that told Matt that we should have car pooled got mad at me. When I drove by her I said "Save the planet!" Alea slapped me.
Having a locker is a world of difference. But beyond all else it was great to see all the fun SD crew. We need to get more outings. Good Times

That was a good run. That is one of my favorite trails, and it had become more difficult due to all the rain. That rockslide made it interesting and the deep soft ruts made it even better.
I love the pic of my truck stuck in that rut.
Thanks to everyone for showing up, glad you guys had fun.

Hey Josh thanks for the pics on top of pancake rock. Got any that I can see my skidplate better? Also what vids do you have? Any of me on the start up pancake rock?
so far my favorite is this one-
and the one of me going down-
of course the ones of marc on his side look cool, even though he wasn't as stuck as he looks since he drove out of it.

A couple hours later and 20 dollars at the car wash I've gotten most of the mud off the truck. Still a bunch left in the front skid plate. Next time I take it off for an oil change I'll get that.
This car pulled up behind me waiting to use it and saw all the mud coming off the truck and decided to wait for another stall. LOL!

Even Steve Perry has to stop and admire Marc's masterfull trail leading.

$20.00???? I hate those washing stations.
Be careful I actually had an attendant kick me out of one. They always have signs posted "NO MUDDY TRUCKS"
I do it in my yard now. The drainage ditch has a nice blend of Lawrence Welk/Ocotillo/Superstition/Black Mountain/Escondido/Canyon Sin Nombre mud in it. It's cool I can actually identify the different layers.

I saw one of the bays had a ton of mud in it s I figured it was okay and there were no signs posted except no bucket washing, which is what I wanted to do!We need video footage of Marc getting unstuck and play Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" in the background. I'm going to have to fire up windows media player right now and bust out my journey's greatest hits!

I don't want your... Photograph
I don't need your...Photograph
All I've got is a photograph
But it's not enough
:rockband:
Heres the best I've got.

Lets do this again soon!
Wake me up before you go go,
Cause I'm not planning on going solo.

Yeah, it is really a fun trail now. blupaddler(robb) pm'd me and said he is bummed that he missed this one, and he wasn't working!
So he wants to go up there soon I think. The last time he went his LC was stock, I want to see it now with all the goodies!
Even though I just spent yesterday washing all the mud off...
I'm ready to go again!
Anyone else?
oh yeah matt the last vid you linked is mikey coming down, not me.

I haven't seen it since it's been lifted/armored but I'm sure he'll be fine.
If steve is going, I'll lead.
I'm not gonna be behind him after he digs the ruts deeper than they already are or loses a bead or something (without a spare).
