Roger's Expedition
I was just perusing the trip reports on the Gettin' Off Club page. Came across this trip Roger Brown did.
"Below are some photos of a solo trip I took from northern CA out to northern MN and back in Jul/Aug, 2004 to attend my grandfather's 90th birthday celebration. I spent about 5 days exploring the back roads of CA/NV/UT before hitting pavement for the remainder of the trip out and back. Total mileage was about 5000 miles over 10 driving days. At least 1000 of those miles were on dirt/gravel roads, I left my tires aired down from Bishop, CA until Kamas UT. "

Pretty amazing. Kudos for having the cojones to make such a trip solo!

Now that's my kind of wheelin'! I'm a rock hound but I'd trade any rock crawlin' trip for that trip in a heart beat. Beautiful pics. I hope some day I can take me a trip like that. 1000 miles of dirt roads
