well we headed up the hill today and were messing around, we were playing in the snow and decided we would head up to fordyce, this was a mistake cuz after we got stuck i realized my tow strap was in my other truck and my friend had taken all the winching and recovery gear out of his 4runner to get his speakers installed earlier in the day. good thing we remembered the camera . I was messing around and my friend wade tryed to go thro some fresh powder and got stuck. i tryed to get close enough with my cheapo strap that i got in a roadside kit, i ended up getting stuck trying to get him out and then we were both pretty screwed . so after being stuck for about hour and half and 2 trucks later we were out. my hitch safety hooks were bent from a guy that pulled me out with his bronco with a 460 that was awesome. although we were stuck it was a fun day, the running boards were my enemy today and I'm so happy my rock sliders are in.

You didn't check for recovery gear before going snow 'wheeling?

Good thing that Bronco came along, you might still be there!

Sounds like you had fun, though - I always have a blast snow 'wheeling, even if we only make it 100yds!

 

We had recovery gear just not adequet(sp). We werent prepared though and next time we will be but we sure had fun.

 

i forgot my main strap in my other truck, but i had enough water to last a while and i had all my first aid kits and cell phone stuff. we had a jeep(yes im sry to admit it) that was willing to come get us but wasnt going to get there for another 2 hours.

 

I had enough leftover halloween candy to last a while to lol. When i get the sas done it wont happen again
