Paragon Trip
Had a good couple of days in Paragon this weekend. No real Toy content as I was the only Toy there (2 others bailed on me) and the rest were Jeeps. I learned the most you can run in a 'Runner on 33's with open diffs and no sliders is a Blue 1. We ended up on a Blue 2 by some misfornunate map reading and I had to turn around. There was a steep ledge that I had no chance of getting up, not without tearing my rockers apart but that wasn't gonna hapen any time soon. Still had a great time down there, and man is beer ever CHEAP!
Here's some pics of the Jeeps running (and breaking) on Pick your Poison and M Trail.

hey twinkie!
nice shots! looks like you guys had a killer weekend despite the carnage! did you regear when you went to the 33's? thats the big thing holding me back for now, im going to regear and dual arb's when i go to 33's.
do you have some sliders and skids in the mod schedule? check out rogers site for diff drops, sway bar spacers, drive train lift and you can probably do a gas tank lift for better break over angles. check out budbuilt for the t/case skid/crossmember mod, youll gain at least 1.5-2" clearance from that alone.
too many mods and not enough money to do them with!! same old story!

According to the codes I have 4.56's so regear isn't really needed. I have plenty of power and ran 70 on the Interstate no problem, even in the PA hills. I'm torn between fixing the Jeep or building the 'Runner. I can fix the Jeep rather easily if I get some friends involved, or I can be different and make a wheeler out of the 'Runner. Ohhhh, what to do...

Well, I've decided to fix the Jeep and put the TrXus back on it. I'll wheel the 'Runner this year while the Jeep is out of commission. But this fall/next year I want to be back in the Jeep. The 'Runner is a nice daily driver, and I like to beat the crap outta my shiat, I'd rather not treat the Toy that way. Yes, I know it can handle the abuse, but it's too pretty. I'll be back to Paragon, but it will be with the Jeep, and I won't have to turn around on no stinkin trail if I take it there.
