Offroading sites in Florida?

Anybody know any places in Florida that you can go 4wheeling. I only know about Big Cypress and an area in Card Sound. If someone knows any good spots let me know. I'll appreciate it.

Not sure about down south but here in central Fl there seem to be plenty if you like sand or deep water. Kind of boring in the sand and whooped out and water is very hard on the rigs bearings and such. I have found that I perfer more of the techanical rides when in the Mt's of VA. But only get up there 2x a year. Ocala is fun and you can ride there all day for free. Some of the trails get hyper narrow so pin striping in going to happen. They just turn into quad trails and you can't back out. I found some cool places near Lake Delancy - about 5 years ago they held the Hummer Challange out there. Had some good times wheeling in the forest. I would say it's not the best state for wheeling like CO or other places out west - now that's wheeling up in those mt's. down here it's More like trial rides and rig bashing if you are into mud. Check out wilsons4x4.com it's a local shop but has some links you may like. Good luck!

check this thead out. it suggests a few area's around North Tampa. I lived outside of Tampa for awhile, never got a chance to go out and wheel, but I know there are some spots. The thing with Big Cypruss is you have to pay to wheel there and you also have to pass a vehicle inspection and your tires have to be a certain width. There was a guy on here (can't find his post) that went there with 11.50 I believe and they wouldn't allow him in because his tire was too narrow.
