My first time out.

I went to the cliffs insane terrain park in marseilles, IL on sunday the 16th with a buddy who has some experience wheeling. And I had a blast to say the least. I was pretty much just getting a feel for what my rig can do but I had to leave for work at 1 so i could not break anything to get too stuck. there was alot of mud that seriously limited the trails we could take. My A/Ts r kind of a joke in the mud but i think with a pair of lockers, i would be pretty unstoppable! I did not get to take a lot of pix but here are a few.

Pardon the language. My friends and I are sound guys... enough said.

My buddy got cocky and stuck! haha

Sorry for the poser/newbie pix. I really hope to get out with some yota guys one of these days.

should have came out for toys for tots at the badlands. Not to burst your bubble but your A/Ts will be useless with lockers. You need M/ts for the cliffs. I will be getting rid of my 32 11.50 on 15 american racing rims in the spring if you are interested. Have worked very well for me at the cliff but Im upgrading to 35s.

i'm presuming he needs to run it because the riding area he is at requires him to, because of their insurance

The flag is for safety, there are a lot of trucks and quads out there and the flag helps with visibility.

That was a complete bummer I couldn't make Badlands, my friggen babysitter crapped out on me the day before. I was uber pissed off about it. I was going to bring the kids with me but decided against it due to the weather. Looks like you guys had a great time, and on a side note since this thread is getting hi-jacked - too bad your rims are only 15" or I would be making on offer on those bad boys.

I would not recommend my M/Ts in the snow and ice. I have a second set of that at the time were brand new cheap pepboy brand ATs. They were on the truck when I bought it a few years ago. Honestly I am very impressed with them. John had a set on his 88 as well before he switched them over to Jens 62 and he really misses them. I drove down the the badlands and never once felt my tires were going to slide out from under me.

As for a wheeling trip coming up...... if we ever get have a good snow you can expect a small group at the cliffs. Traction sucks there with mud but when it freezes over, tires hook up like crazy.
