Mossback Wash Trail, Arizona 56K, be warned.
Last Thursday, a buddy and I went and did some old mining road exploration as well as running the Mossback Wash Trail. I was in the Tacoma, and Sonny was in his FJ. We ended up on route 66 for a bit, going through Oatman, before taking the trail that runs parallel the old narrow gauge railroad bed that ran ore from the mines in Oatman to the smelter in Needles, Ca. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics of the old railroad bed. The batteries in the camera died. But here's some pics from the trails...

You can see the remnants of this old mining compound. There were at least three different buildings. We think this one might have been the main office. It's old, at any rate.
There were a few pics taken of the other buildings, but they came out way fuzzy. Our designated picture taker wasn't used to my camera...

This section was a little tricky. It's hard to see in the photo's, but you had to get your left tires up on a rock, and then immediately bear right. If I had sliders, I could have just climbed up and over the rocks, but I was trying to save the paint... 
Sonny tried it, but found that he was just a little too wide to be able to do it, so he took a bypass...
This was on the Mossback Wash Trail. Marc P and I did this a couple years ago, and it was pretty tame then. It's changed a bit...

These last pics were taken just after turning onto the old railroad trail.
There is a rock that was turned into a memorial for the miners that died in the Oatman area. It's very old...

No, he's just running a OME setup, coils and shocks. He told me the numbers, but I can't remember them off hand. He recently put on the Road Armor bumper in the front and a Warn rear bumper, and this was the first run since installing them. He was really happy with the handling out on the trail with the OME's.

I live near Oatman
Hey I have done some of those trails around Oatman. Did you go into town? Its a really neat place although all they talk about is Clark Gable taking his honeymoon there.
