Memorial weekend off-road **pics***

Not sure where to post this but since I own an 88 4runner Ill post here
Got back monday night from a 3 day weekend of wheeling the toyota in WI.. needless to say I have to make some huge modifications now
Total carnage for the weekend were endless amounts of body damage, rolled the rig over on the passenger side she started on fire but quickly put it out. There is a quarter size hole in the battery that leaks battery acid everywhere, snapped both motor mounts on the second day. smashed diffs from the rocks, bent the crossmember, and now my truck is stuck in 4-low,bent both front leafsprings, rear shackles are bent to ˟˟˟˟˟,truck over heated and blew a coolant hose, lost the front windshield do to a fall into a tree and the cab is completely ˟˟˟˟˟ED!!! Powersteering pump is now going out aswell. The greatest thing of all though is the truck ran the entire weekend through all the abuse that was put to it. The only thing I had to fix on the trail was the coolant hose, and pulling the spark plugs and pumping excess oil outta the cylinders..other than that I ran her through every obstacle as is, and she never gave up on me There are a ton more pics to be posted. These are just from my disposable camera. we had 2 chicks in our group armed with digital cameras and lots of memory. I have yet to see any of their pics but they are sending them to me soon.

I guess this is the before pic the day after I brought her home from the shop.

off-roading..

slipped off a rock and then..

Its just a truck...I built it to off-road if I get body damage in the process so be it. Thats part of the game.
One good thing about all this though is I finally get my full convertible 4runner that Ive always wanted. It will be going back to the shop this weekend where I will proceed to chop the top and start building a cage. Anyone have any good links to a somewhat decent manual tubing bender???

Yah Animalbmx, make lemons into lemonade. How do you feel about a FULL cage (body and all). That would be wicked sweet.

Trucks are born to be scratched and scraped. Even in shopping mall parking lots (lol).

Well, might be too late for an exo to be worth it, but gotta have somethin' - wheel that hard with no armor and your truck will be wadded in a ball in no time...

no blood. couldve been had that tree saved my ass from rollin down that rock hill...Since this trip Ive decided that I now need a cage(finally I get the full convertible 4runner that Ive always wanted). I would like to get rid of the 4in blocks in the rear and run just 1". 3in lifted rear springs up front to move the front axle forward 2. 40" TSLs, and a single gear driven T-case with 4.7 gears. oh yeah and 27spline longs.
