It may be but the snow level has been low the past few days.

Have fun! The 4runner is officially a street queen now that the AT tires and stock rims are back on. No more wheeling for me until the LC is ready...

It was the only way to force myself to stop wheeling for a while and hunker down with Matilda for a bit!

I was up there on Monday, which was after the snow level dropped, and it looked clear all the way up to where the trail ends. If you decide to go and it's a Sunday, give me a buzz. I really enjoyed this trail and would love to go back.

I may be up for that run so long as we can find a different path down the first ledge as to avoid another frame gash stupid wheel base

Dave in the Jeep hugged the uphill side and had no problem coming down. I think his Wrangler is more narrow than the Toys but it looked do-able to any of us.

I followed Bens line (single cab tacoma) he didn't touch but I came down pretty hard and put a nice dent in the passenger side frame under the door :pat:

Jim and I hugged the hill my first time down- it was scary as hell, got pretty tippy, there's a much higher risk for rolling on that line. I think I took a slightly different line this time around coming off the ledge, compared to when you, Ben, myself, etc. did it a while back. I didn't touch at all, and I think it was more slippery recently than the earlier attempt. Its only the frame, right? No sheet metal so your purty truck still looks purty!

Looks like the GF and I may head up there Sunday. I'll start another thread in case anyone's interested.

Not I, Sunday is "get the Christmas tree" day.

I bet you will hit some snow...be sure and dress warm, is your winch working?

I'm backing out on the trip this weekend. I think I'm coming down with the flu and with Sunday being my only day off I need to take it easy. I'll get rid of the other thread and hope we get another chance at this before spring, although with this weekend's weather that may be unlikely.
